FAQ - HOTEL PACKAGES

What types of hotel accommodations are provided?
Participating hotel chains include Marriott, Ramada and Holiday Inn. If rooms are not available at one of the participating chains, accommodations may be provided at a hotel of similar quality.

How will I determine where to go and when?
When you have decided where and when you want to go on your vacation, simply fill in your reservation form and mail it along with your $50.00 US refundable room guarantee deposit, by certified cheque, money order or bank draft.

Is Airfare Included?
Transportation and airfare are not included, but are available through Odenza Marketing Group at discounted prices.

What if I can't take the vacation?
If for any reason you are unable to take the vacation, you can give it to a friend or family member. The vacation is fully transferable providing it has not yet been processed. Remember, the recipient using this certificate must be 21 years of age or older.

Are there any blackout periods?
All room accommodations are subject to Odenza Marketing Group accommodation allotments. During peak season, conventions, major holidays, or when our allotments are full, we reserve the right to make available alternate arrival dates and/or destinations.

How is my room guaranteed?
When you send in your reservation form, a fully refundable $50.00 U. S. deposit is required. This deposit simply assures the hotel that you will be coming, so that they can hold your reservation for you. Your $50.00 U.S. deposit will be refunded to you after you have completed your vacation. If you need to cancel your reservation, written notification of cancellation by registered mail must be received at least 30 days prior to your arrival date. Otherwise, your deposit will be forfeited. There is a $25 rescheduling fee for changes to reservation dates.

Canadian Customers - Why do you require the deposit in U.S. funds?
This program has been set up to include 40 destinations across North America, the majority of which are in the U.S. Therefore, the fully refundable deposit must be made in U.S. funds.

When/How do I get my $50.00 deposit back?
After you have completed your travel, simply request a refund of your deposit by mailing a copy of your original reservation letter and a copy of your hotel check-out statement to Odenza Marketing Group, Inc. 4370 Dominion Street, 6th Floor, Burnaby, BC, V5G 4L7. Your refund will then be mailed to you. Please allow thirty (30) days for processing.

What if I want to stay longer than 2 nights?
If you wish to extend your vacation to a 7-night stay, you may enjoy 5 additional nights at special discounted rates in addition to your 2 nights of accommodations, by upgrading your certificate.

Can I book my own hotel and then let you know which one it is?
No. This program has been designed as a mail-in promotion. You must fill in the reservation form with your correct name, address, telephone number, the requested travel destination and date, and return it along with your $50.00 US refundable room guarantee deposit. Once your reservation form and deposit have been received, a Odenza Marketing Group customer service representative will contact you and provide you with further travel information.

How long do I have to take the vacation?
You must make your reservations before the expiration date.
