Congratulations to our Odenza Marketing Group Volunteer Award scholarship winner, Cory McConnell. Cory graduates from Auburn Drive High School in 2017 and plans to attend the University of King’s College and pursue an economics degree.
Message from Recipient:
“Thank you for selecting me as the Odenza Volunteer Award Winner. This award will be a fantastic help for me as I move forward in my education. On the whole, I do not yet possess the funds needed to fully pay for my schooling. As a result, I intend to put this scholarship toward my tuition. Without the aid of awards such as the Odenza Volunteer Award, the cost of post-secondary education would be far more difficult to manage. In addition, scholarships lessen the pressure of needing paid employment during the academic year to afford school, thus granting me greater time to focus on my studies and to continue volunteering with programs and organizations that have been immeasurably helpful to me and to the community. Therefore, this award shall draw me closer to completing my degree and go on to contribute positively to the world.”
